It was a crisp Fall evening, I pulled up in my 2005 Nissan Altima to the sound of deep African drums pulsing through the air, adults and kids reveling under the Full Moon, next to the beautiful and lush Bodhi tree. I pop open the trunk and reach for a handful of bottles, and nervously walk to the circle to offer samples of my passion hobby.
This was ten years ago. I had just moved to Orlando from Massachusetts where I worked for a Medical Device startup as a Mechanical Engineer. In August of 2012, I moved to Orlando with a car load of my belongings, and one jar of Kombucha mother. I found my community in Central Florida through the drum circle, and I brought my offerings to share. This was the beginning.
Before moving to Orlando, I was working in the Medical Device Industry designing innovative insulin pumps, and I had come to realized one important thing. It wasn't about healing people, it was about profits. I began home brewing kombucha, and it transformed me from the inside out. I thought to myself, "here is a product that can actually benefit people." A year later, Living Vitalitea was born.
I am Daniel, founder of Living Vitalitea, and today I run a 3200 square foot facility in Orlando, FL, where we produce the cleanest and most intentional kombucha in the Sunshine State.
Living Vitalitea currently has the capacity to produce 1200 gallons per month, we serve over 100 accounts in Central Florida, and we are in the process of completely evolving our product line, and re-launching this year with a brand new line of Functional Elixirs focusing on powerful herbal ingredients to benefit you, our community!
