What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is fermented tea, made with only three simple ingredients consisting of sugar, water, and tea leaves. It undergoes fermentation, resulting in a unique blend of flavors and health benefits!
Is Kombucha alcoholic?
Living Vitalitea Kombucha is a non-alcoholic beverage and has an ABV of less than 0.25%, which is the equivalent to some orange juices. Because we use traditional methods to ferment, it is important to keep our kombucha refrigerated until consumption.
Is Kombucha good for me?
Absolutely! Kombucha has three main health benefits: it detoxifies the liver, provides essential probiotics and enzymes which help digestion, and boosts the immune system!
Kombucha is very high in antioxidants, which help reduce inflammation and increase your resilience to stress and disease. Kombucha has liver cleansing organic acids, and probiotics & enzymes that help improve digestion and nutrient absorption. Combined, all of these benefits help the body return to a natural state of wellbeing!

How much sugar is in Kombucha?
Living Vitalitea Kombucha has less than 8 grams of sugar per serving. This is about 30 to 50% less than most other major brands. Also, since we fully ferment our kombucha, none of the sugar is added at the end, which means most of it is metabolized and reduced by the fermentation process.
